We take great pride in sourcing only the finest local and seasonal produce. All our Fish and Seafood’s are from sustainable and well managed fishing grounds. Sustainability is very important to us; the ability to supply the needs of the present without compromising the needs of the future is what we believe in and are passionate about. We have worked hard to ensure all our fish and chip shops have the same high level of consistency. When you look for places to eat in Newcastle, think of us and be assured that every Dhillons Fish Inn takeaway or restaurant you visit has the same great tasting food you require.
Dhillons Fish Inn has been awarded the prestigious Seafish Friers Quality award for its first rate food.
The shop is one of only 500 in the UK to have achieved the Friers award, which was set up in 1996 to raise standards in the Fish & Chip trade.
We fry to order, we believe this keeps the batter crisp, the fish flakey and the customer happy. Please be patient during peak times.
We only use wild fish, not farmed. All our fish comes from well managed, sustainable fishing grounds. It is always our intention at Chip & Fish to purchase the highest quality fish from recognised and respected merchants. We request a guarantee from all our fish merchants that the fish they supply to us has been sourced from sustainable fishing grounds. We also seek full traceability of our fish, details can be given upon request.
